Police in Toronto are warning the public after a male suspect allegedly stabbed two teenagers on an east-end street in Scarborough on Tuesday afternoon.

Police said officers responded to a call for a stabbing in the Jaguar Street and Meandering Trail area at 4:47 p.m, on Tuesday.

According to police, two 15-year-old boys were walking in the area when they were approached from behind by a stranger. Police said the suspect attacked both boys with a knife before fleeing the scene on foot.

One of the victims suffered life-threatening injuries while the other one received minor injuries, according to police.

The suspect is described as white, average build, 5 ‘8″, with a full beard and buzz-cut hair style. He was wearing a white t-shirt and black pants at the time of the assault.

Investigators believe the suspect to be violent, armed and dangerous. Anyone who sees him is urged to call 911 immediately and not approach him.
