Iconic Canadian coffee chain Tim Hortons is pulling out all the stops by offering 24K gold Timbits at select U.S. locations on Friday, June 1, 2018.
In addition to 24k gold-covered Timbits, the brand is also offering consumers in the U.S. a chance to win doughnuts for a year as part of the chain’s National Doughnut Day promotion.
The golden treats are actually honey-dipped Timbits covered in edible 24k gold.
If you happen to be south of the border on Friday, June 1, you can participate in the golden Timbit hunt by dropping by any one of five specially selected restaurants across Buffalo, New York, Columbus, Ohio, and Detroit, Michigan.
The first person after 6am to ask for the “Gold Timbits” at each one of the five secret locations will win free doughnuts for a year – not to mention gold Timbits.
The gold Timbits are not for sale.
