IKEA Canada expands its Bistro menu with the introduction of the new plant-based veggie hot dog from coast to coast.
The new veggie hot dog is made with kale, red lentils, carrots, ginger, quinoa, onion, potatoes, various spices and is served with mustard, red cabbage and roasted onion.
The veggie hot dog is available at all IKEA Bistro locations for a suggested price of 75 cents.
According to IKEA, the veggie hot dog has a carbon footprint that is approximately 7 times less than their classic hot dog.
IKEA’s classic meat-based hot dog will continue to be available at all Bistro locations.
