Ikea Canada is recalling its Godis Passkyckling brand of marshmallow candy due to possible contamination from mice infestation.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) announced the recall on its website on Tuesday, February 27, citing possible contamination from mice infestation at the manufacturing plant.

CFIA is warning consumers not to eat the product because it may contain harmful bacteria.

The agency says all 100-gram bags of the marshmallow candies with all codes sold in 2018 are included in the recall notice.

The product has been sold in Ikea stores in Nova Scotia, Ontario, Quebec, Manitoba, and Alberta.

There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of this product at this time.
