PC Optimum members will soon be able to earn points when they fill up at Esso gas stations across Canada starting this summer.
On Tuesday, Loblaw Companies Ltd. announced it is has signed a deal with Imperial Oil Ltd. that will allow PC Optimum members to earn points on eligible fuel purchases, convenience store products and car wash services at more than 1,800 Esso gas stations.
The company says PC Optimum members will earn 10 points per litre on fuel, and 10 points per dollar on eligible convenience store or car wash services at Esso stations. Registered members may also receive targeted offers.
The PC Optimum program was launched on February 1, 2018, when Loblaw brought together the PC Plus and Shoppers Optimum programs.
The new program features elements of the original loyalty programs, including weekly personalized offers and exclusive point-earning and redemption events.
The PC Optimum program is already available at Mobil gas stations.
