Discount airline Norwegian Air plans to launch flights between Canada and Europe beginning this summer.
While regulatory approval is required before the service can officially take flight, the CBC is reporting that the Canadian Transportation Agency (CTA) granted the airline a permit to sell tickets ahead of a planned launch on July 23, 2018.
At this time, the airline isn’t offering any details on destinations or prices it plans to offer at launch.
Company CEO Bjorn Kjos previously told the Irish Independent that Norwegian Air could fly from Dublin to Toronto with its new fleet of Boeing 737 Max jets.
