Cannabis will be available at just nine Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation stores across the province when the product is legalized in July.

The province announced Tuesday that pot will be available at four stores in the Halifax area, as well as stores in Yarmouth, Truro, New Glasgow, Amherst, and Sydney River in Cape Breton.

The corporation said it will be reopening the former liquor store on Clyde Street in Halifax as a cannabis-only outlet.

Amherst – 126 South Albion St.
Dartmouth – 650 Portland St.
Halifax – 5540 Clyde St.
Halifax – 3601 Joseph Howe Dr.
Lower Sackville – 745 Sackville Dr.
New Glasgow – 610 East River Rd.
Sydney River – 95 Keltic Dr.
Truro – 6 Court St.
Yarmouth – 104a Starrs Rd.

Online sales via the corporation, with home delivery, will also be available. Residents of the province will also be permitted to grow up to four plants per household.
