Lyft, Uber’s main rival, will launch its ride-hailing service in Toronto on Tuesday, December 12 – marking its first expansion outside the U.S. market.
The company first announced plans to enter the Toronto market in November, but did not specify a date when it would make service available.
Lyft’s Ontario coverage area will run from Hamilton to Newmarket to Oshawa.
