A popular media personality in Atlantic Canada announced Monday that she’s moving on in her career. Meteorologist Cindy Day took to Twitter Monday morning to break the news to her fans.
“After 10 yrs @CTVAtlantic, the time has come for me to move on,” Day said. “From those of you who wanted to talk about Grandma, to the school children who wanted to learn about her & the wonderful world of #weather, I cherish the connections we’ve made!”
She also said her last day with the network will be December 22. She did not elaborate on her future plans.

Originally from Bainsville, Ont., Cindy studied at both McGill and Lakehead Universities, obtaining a degree in meteorology. She joined CTV in September 2007.
