BBC’s popular series “The Great British Bake Off” is about to get an infusion of Canadian flavour as CBC plans to debut “The Great Canadian Baking Show” in fall 2017.
The CBC recently put out a casting call looking for Canada’s very best amateur bakers.
“If you absolutely love to bake, consider yourself a pro (but aren’t one), and are known for your cakes, pies and confections, we’re looking for you. This is your chance to be recognized for your serious baking skills and to get bragging rights beyond your wildest (or sweetest!) dreams.”

Additionally, CBC plans to air the original UK version later this summer.
