As of Sunday, March 22, 2020, McDonald’s Canada will no longer be offering take-out service at its restaurants across Canada due to COVID-19 concerns.
In a statement posted on its website, the company said “this means our dining rooms will now be completely closed. In addition, we will also stop offering curbside pickup.”
Drive-Thru and McDelivery remain available:
“However, Drive‑thru and McDelivery service will still be available for those seeking convenient and affordable food options while they practice social distancing.”
The company said some restaurants may still continue to offer take-out in areas where a specific need exists, such as locations near hospitals and healthcare facilities.
