Discovery Canada announced Monday that Hellfire Heroes – a new eight-part original Canadian reality TV series that gets up-close-and-personal with teams of firefighters in rural Alberta will premiere on May 22, 2018.
Airing Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. PT on Discovery, the new series follows two rural Alberta fire departments – Lesser Slave Lake Regional Fire Service and Yellowhead County Fire Department – and their crews whose job is to always be prepared for the worst.
“We believe this new original series will resonate with audiences in much the same way as Discovery’s smash hits Highway Thru Hell and Heavy Rescue: 401,” said Edwina Follows, director of commissioning and production at Discovery Networks.
Firefighters of the Lesser Slave Regional Fire Service – led by Chief Jamie Coutts – and the Yellowhead County Fire Department – led by Chief Albert Bahri – serve and protect a combined area spanning more than 30,000 square kilometres.
On Hellfire Heroes. Why no comments section or is mine the first. Only seen the first 3 episodes so far, but I really like it. I hope they expand it beyond 8 episodes and to other jurisdictions and provinces.
