Hardcore horror movie fans in Canada can now get their fix on Shudder – a new specialty horror-themed streaming service officially available in Canada.
Shudder, which is backed by AMC, originally launched last year in the US. The service offers a library of over 200 titles, which is only a fraction of the number of titles available on the streaming giant Netflix Canada, but about 85 per cent of the titles available on Shudder are exclusive to the service.
A subscription to Shudder Canada’s streaming service will cost you $4.99 a month, or 49.99 for an annual subscription. Shudder also offers a free seven day trial – so you can take it for a test drive before committing to a subscription.
Additionally, the service promises to release a new Shudder exclusive every month.
You can find Shudder on most of the major platforms, including iOS, Android, Apple TV, Chromecast and Roku. Shudder isn’t available on game consoles at this time.
