Old Dutch Recalls Cheddar And Sour Cream Potato Chips Over Salmonella Concern

Old Dutch Foods Ltd is recalling its Cheddar & Sour Cream Potato Chips because of possible Salmonella contamination.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says the affected lot of Old Dutch brand Cheddar & Sour Cream Potato Chips in 66 gram and 255 gram bags have been sold in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Northern Ontario.

Consumers are being advised not to eat the recalled products.

The smaller 66 gram bags have best-before dates of Aug. 10, 2016 through Feb. 24, 2017 while the larger 255 gram bags carry best-before dates of Aug. 10, 2016 to March 2, 2017.

There have been no reported illnesses associated with eating the chips.
