Heinz looks to reignite the contentious ketchup temperature debate by releasing new Heinz Cold Ketchup to give Canadians a choice in the debate.
To get a real-time temperature check on the debate, Heinz conducted a survey and found nearly half of Canadians feel the only way to eat ketchup is cold, while 1 in 5 feel it must be consumed at room temperature.
Starting today, Heinz Cold Ketchup can be found at participating Wendy’s Canada locations nationwide for a limited time, offering cold ketchup lovers a chance to dip their crispy fries in cold, icy ketchup.
Additionally, and especially for Canadians who want to bring home an icy, cold bottle of ketchup, Heinz is encouraging fans to look for the iconic, glass bottles located in specially marked display fridges at select grocery stores starting Monday, May 30, 2022 and on social media where Heinz Canada will be giving away a limited number of special-edition bottles of Heinz Cold Ketchup with its temperature-activated, icy blue label to celebrate the ketchup fans who love it cold.
