Nuggs, a sustainable, plant-based chicken nugget that looks and tastes like real chicken is now available in Canada.
Nuggs debut in Canada in two varieties, Regular and Spicy. Both varieties are cholesterol-free and feature 13 grams of protein (about 25 per cent more than animal-based nuggets) and 10 grams of fat (roughly 40 per cent less fat than animal-based nuggets). Spicy Nuggs are made with a harissa-inspired flavour which offers a signature sweet and smoky flavour experience.
You can find Nuggs at Loblaws and Sobeys sores in BC, Ontario and Atlantic Canada, at Whole Foods East locations, and at Maxi locations in Quebec.
Nuggs are produced and distributed by McCain Foods in Canada.
