Netflix Canada is raising monthly subscription rates on two of the streaming giant’s plans.
While the basic plan remains unchanged at $9.99 a month, the standard plan is increasing by one dollar to $14.99. Meanwhile, premium plans are going up by two dollars to $18.99 a month.
The Standard plan allows subscribers to stream on two screens at a time in full HD (1080p). You can also download videos on two phones or tablets.
The Premium plan includes the ability to watch on four screens at the same time in full HD (1080p) and Ultra HD (4K). You also have the ability to download videos on four devices.
The $9.99 per month Basic plan – which remains unchanged – allows subscribers to watch on one screen in standard definition, and download videos on one device.
Netflix Canada last increased prices on all plans back in November 2018, when the basic plan went from $8.99 a month to $9.99. Standard plans increased by $3 to $13,99, while premium plans also increased by $3 to $16.99.
