Great Canadian Gaming Corporation announced today that its two casinos in Nova Scotia will be reopening October 5, 2020.
Both Casinos – one in Halifax and one in Sydney – temporarily closed on March 16, 2020 to contribute to the containment of COVID-19 and in adherence with public health orders.
The Casino Nova Scotia properties will join the company’s 12 other properties in Ontario and New Brunswick, which are set to reopen later this month on September 28, 2020
When they open, both locations will operate at reduced capacity to approximately one-third of normal levels, with the availability of approximately 60 per cent of slot machines, and the temporary closure of most amenities.
