After a successful pilot last year, KFC Canada announced today that Plant-Based KFC Chicken Sandwiches and Plant-Based KFC Popcorn Chicken will be available nationwide beginning August 10, 2020.
KFC’s Plant-Based Chicken is made in Canada by Lightlife, a leader in the plant-based protein arena, whose range of products are available in retailers across Canada, including Metro, Loblaws, Sobeys, Save On Foods and Longo’s.
New Plant-Based KFC sandwiches will be available permanently at participating KFC locations nationwide beginning August 10, 2020, while Plant-Based KFC Popcorn Chicken will be available for a limited time while supplies last. Both options can be ordered a la carte, as part of a combo, or box meal.
