Subway Canada is teaming up with Beyond Meat for the introduction of the new Beyond Meatball Marinara Sub at select test locations starting in September 2019.
The Beyond Meatball Marinara Sub features new plant-based protein Beyond Meatballs developed exclusively for Subway, topped with savoury marinara sauce, and grated parmesan cheese on toasted bread.
Inspired by the sandwich chain’s traditional meatball sub, Subway says the new Beyond Meatball Marinara Sub “offers the same mouthwatering flavour as Subway’s traditional meatball sub,” with 24-grams of protein per six-inch sub.
The Beyond Meatball Marinara Sub is set to debut next month at in 685 participating restaurants in Canada and the U.S.
