Tim Hortons announced today that it is testing three new breakfast sandwiches made with a plant-based protein “sausage” patty produced by Beyond Meat.
Fans in select Canadian test markets can enjoy three breakfast offerings made with the 100 per cent plant-based Beyond Meat Breakfast Sausage patty: Beyond Meat Breakfast Sandwich, Beyond Meat Farmers Breakfast Wrap and Beyond Meat Vegan Sandwich.
If the test goes over well with consumers, Tim Hortons indicted it will expand Beyond Meat availability to its roughly 4,000 locations across Canada by the end of summer.
