Netflix has cancelled “The Santa Clarita Diet.”
Series producer Tracy Katsky Boomer told CNN that “They called us with the news yesterday. We are all so sad. We have loved making it so much.”
The romantic comedy stars Drew Barrymore as a flesh-eating zombie named Sheila Hammond. The show also features other notables, including Skyler Gisondo as Eric Bemis, Timothy Olyphant as Joel Hammond and Liv Hewson as Abby Hammond.
Season 3 of the popular series made its debuted on March 29, 2019.
