Iconic Canadian discount chain BiWay is set to make a comeback in 2019.
At its peak, BiWay operated 249 discount stores in eight provinces before its demise in 2001.
According to CTV, retail veteran Mal Coven plans to bring back the brand with a new 7,500 square feet “BiWay $10 Store” in the Toronto market next August.
Coven, who originally helped build the brand back in its heyday told CTV that the new store will feature quality goods all priced at $10 or under.
He’s also aiming to add more BiWay stores to his portfolio by the end of 2020.
