McDonald’s Canada is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the iconic Big Mac sandwich with the launch of the MacCoin.
Beginning today, MacCoins will make their debut in Canada and in more than 50 other countries around the world.
Overall, the brand plans to distribute 50,000 coins across Canada via a Twitter contest and giveaways on local radio stations.
You can enter for a chance to win one of five different MacCoin designs by sharing why you love the Big Mac on Twitter by using the hashtag #BigMac50 and tagging @McDonaldsCanada and @McDoCanada through Wednesday, August 8, 2018.
If you’re lucky enough to score a MacCoin, you can redeem it for a Big Mac sandwich at participating restaurants around the world through the end of 2018.
MacCoins are not being distributed with purchase in Canada.
