McDonald’s looks to reel in true seafood fans with the introduction of new Fish & Chips at participating restaurants in Atlantic Canada.

The new dish features 100 per cent wild-caught Atlantic Haddock, battered up and deep-fried until golden. Each order comes served with the chain’s popular French fries and a special tartar sauce for dipping.

Available at participating locations in Atlantic Canada through August 20, a 2-piece order of fish and chips without a drink is priced at $6.99. You can add a drink to your meal for an additional $1.

McDonald’s sources its Atlantic haddock from High Liner Foods out of Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. The fish is certified by the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) to be sustainably caught.

Prices may vary by location.
