The Royal Canadian Mint unveils new silver collector coin in honour of the upcoming royal wedding between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
The 99.99 per cent pure silver coin features an engraved portrait based on one of the official engagement photos of the royal couple-to-be.
Designed by Canadian artist Joel Kimmel, the coin is adorned with a trio of Swarovski crystals that recreate the engagement ring designed by Harry. The obverse features the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt.
Limited to a mintage of 15,000, the coin has a face value of $20 and can be ordered online via the Mint’s website for $104.95, while quantities last. The coin will also be available at the Mint’s stores in Ottawa and Winnipeg as well as participating Canada Post locations and via the Mint’s global network of dealers and distributors.
