Describing it is as the “Angus beef of chicken,” McDonald’s Canada expands it “Seriously Chicken” sandwich menu with the introduction of the new Southern BBQ Seriously Chicken Sandwich.
The Southern BBQ with Crispy Chicken features a 100 per cent Canadian grain-fed chicken breast topped with smoky BBQ sauce, slaw mix, dijon honey mustard & mozzarella on a brioche-style bun.
The new sandwich joins the brand’s existing Seriously Chicken lineup, which includes Tomato & Mozzarella and the BLT.
The Tomato & Mozzarella consists of a Canadian grain-fed chicken breast topped with red onions, lettuce, tomato, mozzarella, and a tomato and herb sauce on a brioche-style bun.
The BLT features a brioche-style bun sandwiching a grain-fed chicken breast, two full strips of bacon, leaf lettuce, tomato and creamy mayonnaise-style sauce.
Each sandwich in the lineup includes your choice of a grilled or crispy chicken breast.
Southern BBQ Chicken can be found at participating McDonald’s locations across Canada for a limited time.
