Singer-songwriter Aretha Franklin is cancelling her 2018 Toronto concert on doctor’s orders.

The Queen of Soul was slated to perform at the TD Toronto Jazz Festival on Thursday, June 28, making up for last year’s cancelled Canada Day performance.

Officials with the Toronto Jazz Festival announced the news on their website and official Twitter account Wednesday:

“The Aretha Franklin concert that was rescheduled for June 28, 2018 at the Sony Centre for the Performing Arts has, unfortunately, been cancelled. As per doctor’s instructions, Aretha Franklin has been ordered not to perform in the coming months.”

Ticketholders that purchased through Ticketmaster or through the Sony Centre Box Office will be contacted and will receive a full refund of their ticket order.
