Canadian actress Ellen Page revealed Wednesday on social media that she tied the knot with her partner Emma Portner.
The 30-year-old Juno star announced the news to her fans via Instagram along with a photo showing the pair’s hands reaching out with wedding bands on their ring fingers.
“Can’t believe I get to call this extraordinary woman my wife,” Page wrote.
Portner responded on her Instagram page, writing “I get to call this incredible woman MY WIFE! @ellenpage I LOVE YOU!”
Born and raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Page got her start in the business in the late 1990s on a variety of Canadian television shows, including Pit Pony, Trailer Park Boys, and ReGenesis.
Her breakthrough came in 2007 when she played the title character in the 2007 comedy film Juno, winning her Academy Award, Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild nominations.
She has since gone on to star in numerous blockbusters, including Inception and the X-Men franchise.
