Toronto police have released video of a man setting fire to a Porsche SUV in the driveway of a residence in Toronto.
Police say the unidentified man approached the car, smashed the window, doused the car with gasoline and set it on fire before fleeing the area in a white four-door sedan.
The suspect is described as wearing a dark jacket, gloves, and black boots. Police believe he may have sustained significant injuries.
The video was recorded by a security camera at approximately 5:30 a.m. on Friday, December 29, 2017 near O’Connor Drive and St. Clair Avenue East.

He didn’t break the window. You can see the reflection of the headlights pass up the back windows, disappear where the front window should be, then resume on the door frame. It was open. In the dead of winter. Left open by a person who went to the trouble of installing a security camera. And I didn’t see time for a dousing. Maybe a splash but it seems like the accelerant was already in the vehicle.
