Subway Canada is now offering fans a new choice of bread with the launch of gluten-free bread at participating locations nationwide.

Subway Canada’s gluten-free bread is individually wrapped and manufactured in a gluten-free facility. However, the company says they cannot guarantee that their menu items are 100 per cent gluten free due to the fact that menu items and ingredients are prepared on shared equipment at individual locations.

While the company pledges to do their best to avoid cross-contamination, they cannot guarantee a 100 per cent gluten-free experience in their restaurants.

Below is a list of some gluten-free ingredients available at Subway Canada:

  • Items Without Gluten: Bacon strips, Black Forest ham, Chicken (Oven roasted and plain strips), Roast beef, Cold Cut Combo meats, Egg (yellow and white egg omelets), Pepperoni, Salami, Steak, Tuna, Turkey breast.
  • Cheese Without Gluten: All cheeses.
  • Toppings Without Gluten: All of our Fresh Vegetables, Banana peppers, Jalapenos, Olives, Pickles.
  • Sauces Without Gluten: Chipotle Southwest sauce, Regular mayonnaise, Light mayonnaise – type dressing, Yellow and deli brown mustard, Oil, Ranch dressing, Sweet Onion sauce, Vinegar.
