
The Ontario government has named the first 14 cities in the province where it will set up recreational marijuana stores.
The stores, set to open in July 2018, will be run through a subsidiary of the Liquor Control Board of Ontario (LCBO).
The First 14 Ontario Cites To Host Recreational Marijuana Stores Will Be:
- Barrie
- Brampton
- Hamilton
- Kingston
- Kitchener
- London
- Mississauga
- Ottawa
- Sault Ste. Marie
- Sudbury
- Thunder Bay
- Toronto
- Vaughan
- Windsor
While exact locations remain to be determined, overall, Ontario plans to set up around 150 standalone cannabis stores by 2020, with the first batch of 40 stores opening in 2018, and a target of 80 stores by July 2019.
