Foodies in Halifax can now enjoy Portuguese-inspired rotisserie chicken with the arrival of the CHKN Chop in the heart of the city.
CHKN Chop’s menu features rotisserie chicken, poutine, sandwiches, sides, sauces, and cookies.
For fans only interested in chicken, a variety of options are available, including a whole CHKN (chicken) for $28, and smaller options, like a ¼ CHKN for 8 bucks.
Poutine starts at $8 with house gravy, cheese curds, while a large CHKN Chop poutine with house gravy, cheese curds, pulled chicken and pickled onions is available for $16.
CHKN Chop offers two sandwich options for $10 each – Pulled CHKN and Hot CHKN on a LF Bakery Milk Bun.
Plates range in price from $12 to $36.
Sides are available for $3.75 each, in the following options:
- Classic Coleslaw
- House Salad
- Corn Elote
- Green Beans
- Hand-Cut Fries
Located at 6041 North Street, CHKN Chop operates 5-days a week, with lunch served from noon to 3:30 p.m., and dinner from 5:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Phone orders not available at this time.
