Dutchie Donut fans are losing their raisins with news that Tim Hortons is bringing back the fan favourite treat at participating locations across Canada.
But before you get too excited, there’s something important you need to know. The Dutchie will only be back for a limited time as part of Tim Hortons Canadian-themed treats – in celebration of Canada’s 150th birthday celebration.
The Dutchie is a square, yeast donut containing raisins and coated with a sugary glaze.
When news of the Dutchie’s return was first reported by Canadify, fans of the treat took to social media to celebrate:
Might have to be bad and get a dutchie tomorrow. My favorite donut of all time thanks @TimHortons ??

It’s my understanding that the Dutchie will be available throughout the summer, but after that, Tim Hortons plans to retire the treat for good.
