Subway Canada expands their menu with the introduction of new gourmet panini sandwiches at participating locations.
The new paninis feature new ciabatta bread and are available in four varieties, including Chicken Cordon Bleu Panini, Italian B.M.T. Panini, Chipotle Steak and Cheese Panini, and Triple Cheese Panini
The Chicken Cordon Bleu Panini features layers of Canadian ham, grilled white meat chicken strips, Swiss cheese, baby spinach, and tomatoes all drizzled with a creamy honey mustard and pressed between ciabatta bread.
The Italian B.M.T. Panini features new ciabatta bread filled with thin slices of Genoa salami, pepperoni and black forest ham, layered in warm, melty cheddar cheese, all topped with spinach, tomato and red onion and drizzled with house sandwich sauce.
The Chipotle Steak and Cheese Panini features ciabatta bread loaded up with 100 per cent Canadian steak, green peppers, red onions, cheddar cheese and a touch of southwest sauce, all pressed and grilled until golden.
The Triple Cheese Panini features Cheddar, Swiss and Monterey cheeses, baby spinach, tomatoes and crunchy red onions, pressed between ciabatta bread and grilled until golden brown.
You can find the new paninis at Subway locations across Canada as a permanent menu item. They start at $3.99.
Additionally, the paninis will be sampled coast-to-coast aboard the Panini Express, a transparent food truck, which begins its cross-country tour next week in Toronto, making its way east to Charlottetown and back all the way to Vancouver in the west.
