CBC-TV’s hit comedy series “Schitt’s Creek” starring Eugene Levy and Catherine O’Hara will be returning for a fourth season in 2018.

The series, co-created by Eugene Levy and his son Dan Levy, is currently winding down its third season.

The 30-minute comedy, also starring Daniel Levy, Annie Murphy, Chris Elliott, Jennifer Robertson and Emily Hampshire follows a wealthy family who suddenly find themselves broke and forced to live in Schitt’s Creek, a small town they once bought as a joke.

Schitt’s Creek is nominated for 13 Canadian Screen Awards, including best comedy series and best comedy performance for Eugene Levy and Catherine O’Hara.

During the 2017 Canadian Screen Award Industry Gala for Creative Fiction held on March 8, Emily Hampshire was named best supporting actress in a comedy for the second year in a row.

Airing Tuesdays at 9 p.m. (9:30 NT) on CBC, the Schitt’s Creek season 3 finale airs on April 4, 2017. Look for season 4 of Schitt’s Creek to premiere on CBC in winter 2018.
