Canadian alt-rockers Arkells and Canadian Music Hall of Fame inductee Sarah McLachlan will be performing at this year’s Juno Awards in Ottawa.

The Arkells and McLachlan join the current lineup of confirmed performers, including A Tribe Called Red, Alessia Cara, Ruth B, Shawn Mendes, and alt-folk indie group The Strumbellas.

Four-time Juno award winner Arkells are nominated for two awards this year, including Group of the Year and Rock Album of the Year. The band last performed at the Juno Awards in 2015, when the gala was held in their hometown of Hamilton, Ontario.

McLachlan is nominated for Adult Contemporary Album of the Year, and will also be honoured with an induction into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame during the awards broadcast.

Additional performer and presenter announcements will be released in the coming weeks.
