Pita Pit Canada expands its line of signature grilled pitas with the introduction of the new Chicken Shawarma Pita, at participating locations across Canada.
The new Chicken Shawarma Pita features authentic Halal dark meat chicken marinated in a unique blend of spices and topped with tomatoes, lettuce, cucumber, sweet red onion, feta cheese, hot peppers and creamy tzatziki sauce, all rolled up in a soft pita.
In addition to the Chicken Shawarma Pita, Pita Pit is also serving Chicken Shawarma fork style, in a bowl.
The new menu item was developed by Pita Pit in partnership with Mina Halal. The brand will also take care to adhere to strict Muslim standards by cooking its Chicken Shawarma separately in the microwave, and storing it separately, away from other meats.
