A 21-year-old man is dead after a shooting Saturday night near an apartment building on Washmill Lake Drive in Halifax.
In a release issued by police Saturday night, Halifax police said they responded to the 600 block of Washmill Lake Drive in regards to shots being fired.
Police found the body of a 21-year-old man near an apartment building called the Crown on Regency at 610 Washmill Lake Drive.
The man’s body could be seen covered by a white tarp laying on the ground near the apartment building.
According to reports, five people were arrested near the scene Saturday night, with one being released Sunday morning.
The investigation continues.
