Police in Halifax are investigating a fatal shooting in the 600 block of Washmill Lake Road.
According to police, the shooting happened around 5 p.m. Police are focusing their investigation on an apartment complex known as the Crown on Regency where a body covered in a tarp could be seen nearby.
“Several” people were taken into custody, according to the CBC.
The victim’s identity, gender and age has not been made pubic.
The investigation is in its early stages and police say they will release an update will when new information becomes available.
