With the 2018 Winter Games just around the corner, Cheerios is once again supporting Canada’s winter Olympians with a new “Cheer” campaign.

The brand is partnering with several Team Canada athletes, including Mark McMorris (Snowboard), Tessa Virtue & Scott Moir (Figure Skating), Charles Hamelin (Short Track Speed Skating), Natalie Spooner (Hockey) and Mikael Kingsbury (Freestyle Skiing). Starting in January 2018, the athletes listed above will appear on cereal boxes throughout the 2018 Olympic Winter Games to celebrate their Olympic journey.

The new Cheer boxes were designed to encourage Canadians to cheer on Team Canada through November and December. The brand is also offering fans a chance to send digital at BeTheCheer.ca after that time frame.

Fans can simply cut out the Cheer card on the front of the Cheerios box, fill it in with an encouraging message for a Team Canada athlete and simply drop it in a mailbox.

With the help of Canada Post, Cheerios will deliver the card, free of charge, to the athlete at Canada Olympic House in South Korea to Cheer them on at the 2018 Olympic Winter Games.
