Fans mourning the death of Tragically Hip frontman Gord Downie will have a chance to see a new documentary about the band’s final tour earlier than planned.

Originally scheduled to air in November, CTV announced Wednesday that the documentary “Long Time Running” has been moved up to Friday, October 20. The network also plans to air the documentary again on Sunday, November 12, before making it available on CraveTV.

“Long Time Running” chronicles The Tragically Hip’s iconic 2016 Man Machine Poem tour and emotional final concert in the band’s hometown of Kingston, ON. Fans are given a unique and exclusive perspective into The Tragically Hip’s world through interviews, verité, intimate behind-the-scenes moments, fan testimonials, audience experience, and performance footage.

The 95-minute documentary premiers on CTV this Friday at 8 p.m. ET/PT. The film will also be rebroadcast on Sunday, November 12 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CTV.
