Fans of the popular Canadian reality TV series Big Brother Canada are mobilizing to save the show from cancellation.
Panic set in among the show’s biggest fans after host Arisa Cox took to Twitter to announce the Canadian version of the franchise is on hiatus, after five seasons on Global TV. That’s usually code in the business for cancelled.

Viewers reacted swiftly with an online petition to save the show, and with posts across social media platforms urging Global to reconsider.
Global TV confirmed the series is on hiatus and said further details would be announced at a later date.
