Calgarians with a late-night food craving can satisfy their appetite by simply reaching for their smartphone as UberEATS officially launches today in Calgary.
Uber’s new stand-alone app allows Calgarians to order food from their favourite local restaurants and have it delivered to their door. According to Uber, the company is working with the best spots in Calgary to put the best local food all in one place.
“By partnering with more than 70 local Calgary restaurants, we are proud to help Calgarians order food from their favorites restaurants – at the push of a button. Beyond great meals, UberEATS creates new flexible economic opportunities for restaurant and delivery partners that will benefit Calgary’s economy,” said Dan Park, Canada UberEATS general manager.
UberEats says the average order takes around 35 minutes from start to finish and when you place your order via the app, you’ll see a total that includes the food and delivery price – and there’s no need to tip.
You’ll also be able to pay with your Uber account and track your order on the site as it comes to you.
