One of CTV’s most anticipated summer hit series, The Amazing Race Canada returns for a fifth season on July 4, 2017.
Hosted by Olympic Gold Medallist Jon Montgomery, the network’s most-watched summer series is back to celebrate Canada’s 150th anniversary with non-stop action, as the racers travel across Canada and the world in the hopes of being the last team standing.
Contestants and crew were spotted in Castlegar, B.C. earlier this week, the Trail Daily Times reported Monday.
One of their first stops was Chances Casino right next to the airport where contestants approached the cashier’s cage.
Crews were at the island setting up tents, cameras and other props prior to the arrival of the contestants.
Season 4 of The Amazing Race Canada averaged 1.9 million viewers, with a season high of 2.1 million tuning in to watch the season finale.
