Nickelback would like to remind you that they haven’t forgotten about their fans as they head back to the studio to work on a new album.

The Alberta rockers say they started working on their ninth album after signing a new worldwide record deal with BMG.

A message on the band’s official website indicates they have “Big News” coming on February 1, 2017.

“Currently in the studio, the band are working on material for their new full-length album to be released via BMG and are planning a major announcement slated for February 1,” BMG said in a statement released Wednesday.

Nickelback’s hit ‘How You Remind Me’ was named Billboard’s ‘Top Rock Song of the Decade’ and was No. 4 on the Top 10 songs of the 2000s list.

Nickelback are Chad Kroeger (Lead Vocals, Guitars), Ryan Peake (Guitars, Backing Vocals), Mike Kroeger (Bass) and Daniel Adair (Drums, Backing Vocals).
