Walmart escalates its war with Visa as the retail giant stops accepting the credit card at 16 Walmart locations in Manitoba today.
Earlier this summer, Walmart refused to accept the credit card at three locations in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Walmart says fees are too high.
In June, Walmart announced it would phase-out Visa at all its more than 400 Canadian locations.
Visa claims they offered Walmart one of the lowest rates in the country.
